Additionally, you can lock and unlock the vehicle with your phone which is certainly nice if you leave your keys in the car or elsewhere. You also are able to get vehicle status checks and know when your Ford might be due for routine services and can schedule appointments via the app as well. There are also easy ways to access Ford roadside assistance if you're covered as that includes getting help for fuel delivery, flat-tire repair, and more.

The FordPass app isn't just for service though. You can set it up to make payments and check your vehicle financing balance, plus for select 2018 vehicles, there are choices to utilize it as a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, which is certainly nice if you're out enjoying camping and nature, but need that added connection around Bay City and Freeland. FordPass also provides you with rewards that can be used on service and new vehicle purchases as well.
